The Glasteel II underground storage tank is built to Underwriters Laboratories specification standard UL-58 and UL-1746 part III. Glasteel II double wall fuel tanks may be built with or without multiple compartments for multiple fuel storage. The primary tank and FRP jacket are separated by an interstitial space with the jacket acting as the secondary containment and corrosion barrier while the secondary jacket allows for interstitial monitoring capabilities. The Pressure Vessel Quality Control Program encompasses codes such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and NBIC (National Board Inspection Code). To assure compliance with applicable construction codes, customer specifications, and our own Quality objectives we have developed Quality Control programs for all of our divisions, each of which is directed by a Quality Control Manual and an array of supporting procedures.
